As 2009 Comes to a close, I began to
reflect upon all my accomplishments
in the last couple of years as an
Internet Marketer…

You hear it many times in this industry,
that if you want to speed up the learning
curve, then go out and get yourself a mentor

As I was speaking to my good Friend, and
Frontline Leader, Tim, last night, I was
reminded of the Calibur of people that
I have had the honor of, Paying Money to
and learning from…

(That’s right, I said THE HONOR OF PAYING MONEY TO…)

And whose impact on my journey not only
resulted in out earning my 9-5 Construction
Secretary Salary, but have developed and refined
skillsets that are REQUIRED to make it in life!

This post both serves as a good Memory Jogger
to remind myself all the amazing people I have
had the Priveledge of working with, but
it is also an expression of my gratitude
for all the Mentors I have parked my wings under…

 

Bob Proctor was the First person to ever introduce
me to Multiple Streams of income. Who knew you could
get Multiple checks at one time? Thanks to him,
I discovered what M-3 income is all about… and
was the catalyst to my journey into Internet Network Marketing.

Dennis Karganilla – Taught me Video Marketing
and Myspace and he indirectly taught me love
and compassion, and unity in a group through
the Ohana Family….

Steve Schuitt- Taught me how to have fun in my Business

Diane Hochman – Showed me a Woman could be a Mother and
still be a strong presence on her own, and yes, build an empire
from the comfort of her home. She also showed me that
it’s ok to be goofy, and silly, if that’s who you are…

Joe Schroeder- Taught me Fearlessness, he made me look
at my shortcomings and face them square in the eye…
Made me stand right next to the things I hate…
He taught me how to think like a Business Owner,
instead of an industry PAWN.

He also taught me the power of simplicity and the
Overwhelming effect of Emotion… ANd the power of
‘Rocking’ a Conference Call…
He encouraged my relentlessness and I still hear his voice in my head
-NEVER GIVE UP…

Daegan Smith – Taught me Google Adwords on the Cheap!
and he also showed me you can be worth Millions and
still have a heart of gold… He has the true heart
of a Teacher, and thanks to Daegan, I know everything
I know about Solo Ads, Ezine Marketing and Article Marketing.

Ben Settle – The King of Copywriting. Mike Dillards Secret Weapon.
This man showed me that the Pen, indeed, is Mightier than the
sword, and that not only copywriting, but customer Service, is
KING in this industry.

Frank Trueblood was the master that showed me
how to put an Airtight recruiting system together
where people literally plugged themselves into
my downline without me even knowing. He also
taught me patience, and how to slow down, and
how to take things step by organized step. His
system PROVES what Joe Schroeder once said,
‘Go SLOW will make you go Fast, if you go FAst,
you will go Slow…….”
Going Slow and Steady is GOOD!!

And Last but not least…

Kody Bateman taught me that there must be a
balance in your life of giving and receiving.
You must be on both ends of the equation in
order to experience happiness in your life.

IT is OK to Indulge yourself, because in doing
so you are making life Better for Someone else.
He taught me getting a full on Mani-Pedi was
not only good for ME but it was good for my
children, because how could I be a good Mother
to them, if I wasn’t first good to myself.

He taught me how to Send to Give, and how
to love both my clients and my prospects,
and what people really want in the end
is love and appreciation.

Aside from these Mentors, there are people
who you also learn from from afar, like
Jonathan Budd, Mike Dillard, Franco Gonzalez
and the Great Tatyana Gann, who inspired me to
be authentic and true to Myself… they
also impact your life, and there are many
more to mention, but too long of a list to
include here….

As you see each and every mentor I have learned something
from, you’ll notice that each and every one taught
me a different piece of the puzzle.

This is NOT just get in and Get paid…

I received a Full on University Load of Training…

And I’m STILL being Coached by a couple on this list…

And after 2 years of intense learning, I’ve
applied what I’ve learned and gotten results which = Money.

The Money comes AFTER you Learn and Implement.

So, behind the smoke and mirrors of the
elusive, $10K a month in a week without doing anything,
Lies the TRUTH, which is…

It takes WORK
It takes TIME
it takes ENERGY
It takes COMMITMEMT
it takes DEDICATION
it takes SACRIFICE
it takes IMPLEMENTATION
it takes MENTORSHIP
it takes TRAINING
it takes MONEY
it takes PASSION to the Upteenth power
it takes BELIEF in yourself….

To Make this Work.

Don’t Ever let anyone tell you different.

You can speed up the process by parking
yourself under the wing of a mentor…

& By leveraging Systems…

or you can take FOREVER and try to figure
it all out on your own…

The Route you take, is YOUR Choice…

Some people figure it out sooner than
others.

We all have our own Gestation period.

And, depending on your circumstances, and
the way you were raised, you may just have
to push a bit harder than everyone else.

And that’s ok.

As long as you are determined to get there.

So I was calling Geico this Morning, before
I rushed out to catch a Friday Matinee with

I was Masterminding This morning with a Good Friend and Fellow
Internet Network Marketer in the industry, when we got onto the
topic of, Information overwhelm and why So Many networkers fail
online, and how WE could do our part to help those who truly
are Motivated but are just overwhelmed by all the information..

And then I told her,  You know… Babies know this stuff, yet
As adults we totally forget and that is…

You need to learn how to CRAWL, before you can WALK
And then you need to learn how to WALK before you Can RUN…

There is no sense in learning all kinds of Advanced Traffic Strategies,
and making Money Online, if you don’t even have the Basics under your belt.

I know I struggled with putting all the puzzle pieces together but there was
one thing that has always kept me going and that is the persistence and
the determination to make it happen…

This reminds me of the time when My 2nd Son Gabriel, My beautiful blue-eyed boy
was about 4-5 Months old and I had laid out a blanket for him on the living room floor,
and Placed him on his belly.

At that time, he still couldn’t totally push his head up, but he sure surprised me that day!

That little baby was just struggling to push himself and push himself up,
He Struggled so hard to push his own little head up…

and he’d temporarily surrender, and put his little noggen back on the blanket
but in a couple of seconds, he was back trying again…

and he kept trying and trying…

I couldn’t help but just sit there and watch him…

I know, I could have helped him by nudging him a bit, but I just really
wanted to see what he would do..

And by sheer determination, that tiny creature of a baby, by pure instinct
and persistence, finally put his head up, and you can just see the look
of accomplishment in his beatiful little porcelain face.

 

Now 6 years old, I can’t get him to stop running around,
or whizzing around on his ‘RAZOR’ Scooter!

But the point here is, and why I wanted to share this with you, is…

Don’t feel bad if you don’t get the entire picture yet…

Don’t feel bad if you’ve tried and temporarily failed..

Don’t feel bad if you haven’t quite gotten your head completely up yet…

The important thing is that you are persistent and patient…
and have a Driving Desire To follow through and make it happen!

Take things one step at a time…

Just as babies must go through a ‘Growth’ Process, so do we.

But just like my baby Gabriel, you just can’t give up…

You must KNOW you will finally get your head up…

After all, even baby’s know you have to learn how to Crawl
before You Can Run…

But with the right information, and applying what you learn..

You’ll be running faster than you ever thought possible in no time at all!

There was this cartoon I used to watch when I was a kid.
Can’t Remember for the life of me, what the name of it was..

But it was a dog and he would say something like…

“which way do I go, which way do I go?”

And sometimes that feeling of, Which way do I go
can be very overwhelming, and truly, you just
don’t know which way to go because there are literally
hundreds of thousands of options (and opinions) out there.

I’ve suffered from the Deadly Curse, known as ‘Too Many Options’.

And it took me a while to figure out exactly how to
Buckle my pants tightly and just stick to something,
and I’m going to share with you how to do it to in just a second…

First and foremost, one of the Biggest mistakes I’ve made
while trying to build my business online, is not knowing
exactly what I wanted both my Life and My business to look like.
So the first thing you need to figure out is:

What do I want my business & Life to look like?

Here’s an example of what I mean.
Just a few months ago, I had joined a ‘Coffee’ MLM after
an Internet Friend of mine gave me all the logical reasons
to believe that this was a good idea.

A. It was relatively Cheap To Join.
B. It was a product people consume on a daily basis
C. It was a relatively ’simple’ business.

But after promoting it online for 3 months, I signed up 2
people and never received a check.

Meanwhile, My upline, who is a ‘MONSTER’ Offline Networker
and Mad Serious Recruiter, was signing up people left and right

Honestly, he is a Great Professional Network Marketer, and my hat goes off to him.

But along with that, were several road trips to foreign countries.
Jumping on Airplanes to open up different Markets…
And a considerable amount of time away from home…

Now, this works for people who WANT to live that lifestyle, and there
is nothing wrong with that, but…

It just wasn’t what “I” Wanted…

Because the ‘Trade-off’ of building a huge Team, in the tens of thousands,
would require me to do alot of offline footwork and spend quite a bit of
time away from my Family and my Boys, which is the Exact Reason I am building
a business Online…..

Had I had a concrete vision of what I wanted my business to look like,
I would have never joined that business opportunity….

and would have saved both of us Time, Energy and Money.

So the first thing you NEED to do is get clear on what you want your
Business and your LIFE to look like.

And a Big Part of Narrowing that down goes straight to what your Beliefs and Values are.

So When choosing a business opportunity, really, think about what your Values are.

What means the most to you?

What are you NOT willing to Sacrifice?

There is ALWAYS a Trade-off for what you want.

So here is what I came up with, and perhaps it will help you too…

1. I had to be able to do business with a Cellphone and a Laptop
2. I wanted to be able to make money while I was around or not
3. I wanted an Internet Based Business, with no global boundaries
4. I wanted to be able to do offline advertising that would bring people online
5. I wanted to use my Creative skills, such as Copywriting or graphics design in my work.
6. I wanted to virtually put my business on auto-pilot…
7. I wanted the potential to make a ‘Realistic’ 6 Figures from home without having to Travel.

These are just a ‘Few’ of my core features I wanted in a business.

 So for someone like me, going into Affiliate Marketing, or an Internet Based M-L-M
or Selling and Creating Products and Services, was the route that was best for what
I ultimately wanted my business and life to look like…

So first I built what I wanted my Biz to look like in My head, and then based
on my passions and interests, I chose Business opportunities and business models
that would Support that Vision!!

Once that is clear in your head…

No matter what ‘Bait’ you are offered, or what opportunity is presented to you,
you will not sway, and you will stick to your game plan because you know
exactly what you want.

This is the very First Step you must take in order to Stop Suffering
from Too Many Options…

The 2nd Thing you must have set up is…

Know your Business Model

There are a thousand ways to make Money on ther internet.

And there is a significant Trade off to each one.

And it ties into the above situation of, what do you want your business to look like.

Here’s a tip: It is FASTER to go full-time online when you are making
multiple streams of income, and getting 5X Checks at a time, without
any additional effort.

The biggest problem I see, and have personally experienced, is that
people don’t have a ‘Flowing’ or streamlined Marketing Funnel Set up, so
they are promoting 10 things at once, and there is no rhyme or reason to their business.

So instead of making multiple streams of income, they are actually making none.

This is where setting up a Marketing Funnel, and understanding your
Business Model, or even using a ready-built system with built-in income streams
will help you keep things together, while helping you create the multiple
streams of income you desire.

And Lastly, and Most Importantly is….

and this is HUGE…

You must have your ‘Energy’ Levels in Check.

Listen, people can ‘Feel’ when you are desperate,
when you are moody, when you have a chip on your shoulder,
and they can also ‘Sense’ when you have a good grip on
what you are doing, and if you are happy, or sad, revengeful, whatever!

It doesn’t matter if you are Broke, but if your ‘Energy’ is of a broke person, you will repel people.

You can be broke and still have all the confidence in yourself.

After all, isn’t that what ‘FAITH’ is all about?

No one wants to join a business with a ‘pansy’ or with someone
who is afraid to take risks, or is constantly second guessing themselves.

Confidence and Conviction pay Big Dollars.

So if you are lacking in any of those departments, then you need to
do one of two things…

Keep Investing in your Personal Development OR

Keep Investing in Your Personal Development.

That’s it.

I know I’m not perfect, but I’m not afraid to admit it either.

Not anymore anyway.

So stop trying to be perfect…

Stop trying to do it all…

Just do these three things and you can’t go wrong….

I had to share a pretty FUNNY story with you today…

It happened a few weeks ago, when I was going
through these M-o-n-e-y Making Classes I’m taking..

I dunno, if you’ve actually watched the videos or not

Anyway, so I was sitting there taking Class #3…

(that’s the class that pretty much EVERYONE anxiously

waits for cuz that’s where you can start RUNNING

and M’ARKETING it, to start getting sign-ups into the system…

Which Means YOU can start making some SERIOUS Moo-lah…)

And anyway, this Guy Frank,

the M-i-l-l-i-o-n-a-i-r-e that teaches these Classes….

I gotta tell ya..

well, he’s kinda….

No ACTUALLY…

He is VERY……….. (YAWN)
BORING.

I mean listening to Frank is kinda
like Watching ‘PAINT DRY’..

it’s that ……………..(YAWN)

BORING….

And He kinda reminded me of this Professor I
once had back in the day, when I was taking
a History Class at Florida International University,

And anyway, Just like Frank, my PROFESSOR was

also VERY

BORING….

But boy, this one professor….

I can’t remember his name, but I remember he

wore silver rimmed Glasses, was around maybe

in his mid-forties and he wore those sports jackets

with the Patches on the Elbows,…

I forget what they are called.. but anyway….

He was just so EXTREMELY PASSIONATE ,

about history and the Revolutionary War,

that He was just a GENIUS on the Subject

I mean he knew everything about that Time period, and he
would TOTALLY get wrapped up in his Long and BORING
Lectures…

And I remember one day, sitting in class..

while listening to a bit about ‘Benedict Arnold’

I ‘accidentally’ Fell Asleep,

only to be awakened by my professor

and my face was EMBARASSINGLY

sitting in a ‘POOL’ of my own “SLOBBER’.

And I literally started to laugh, when I was taking

Frank’s class #3, cuz I actually started nodding off at the ‘HYPNOTIC’

MONOTONE Sound of FRANK’s VOICE and REALIZED…

I HAD Totally SLOBBERED on myself again….

So I’m thinking there must be some correlation
between BORING GENIUSES and Me SLOBBERING on myself…

But here is the KICKER, and is why I even brought
this story up in the first place…

Just like My history Professor, who was passionate
about the Revolutionary War, and could tell you
Everything you ever wanted to know about the subject..

Well, that’s kinda the same way Frank is about

MAKING M0NEY…

He’s just a FREAKING GENIUS at it.

I mean that guy really knows his stuff.

So it Kinda just Goes to Show you,

Just Cuz Someone is BORING

doesn’t mean they don’t know EXACTLY what they are talking about…

And it SURE as heck doesn’t Mean you

Can’t LEARN A thing or Two From them!
So I figure, even if it means I may doze off a couple
of times, cuz Frank’s voice is just so darn BORING…

Just like My history Professors Was….

there is one thing that ‘CAN’T Be DENIED’,

and that is…

That Frank Really does know his stuff…

And as long as Franks System still proves
to make me m0ney, and My Teammates M-o-n-e-y…

well, then  I’ll just have to INVEST in some X-TRA ‘Tissues’

with all the M-0-N-E-Y I make while I continue to go through his classes…

He may not be the life of the Party, and He is DEFINITELY

on the BORING Side,  but he knows how to teach

people how to MAKE ‘GOBS of M0NEY’, Step-by-Step…

And you can Learn to Make M0ney Step by Step too..

We walked into Comp USA,

My Husband had to pick up some video card and some other

technical doo-hickies for some Geek Stuff he had to do…

And anyway….

You can just TELL that the staff is paid on commission…

Cuz you walk in through the Automatic Sliding doors,

And they are waiting for you, all in a line, kinda like VULTURES…

So, While we are mentally planning an ESCAPE route in our heads…

in the back of our minds we are thinking, how on earth

can we just DODGE these guys and get passed them to where

we wanna go, without being bombarded by these DESPERATE SALESPEOPLE

Who Are looking at us like we have Dollar Signs on our Foreheads…$$

So We Grabbed our Cart, and Stuck our 3 Year old in it…

and wrangled the other 2 by the hands

And before we knew it, one guy like Totally snuck up on us from behind and asked

CAN I HELP YOU WITH SOMETHING??

well of course, we politely turned around and said….

“No thanks, we are just browsing right now…”

Once my husband was READY TO BUY and just needed some x-tra help…

He walked over to one of the sales people Dressed in a Red Polo and Black Slacks,

and asked for help, when HE was Ready…

With Credit Card in Hand, Ready to BUY…

Now the Moral of the Story here is….

Most people Love to BUY but they HATE To Sell..and they Hate to be SOLD…

So why not give people what THEY WANT…..

and POSITION yourself in the Market Place to let people Come to YOU…

With Credit Card in Hand and EAGER to BUY…

It’s really alot easier than you think….

So Next Time you’re at the Retail Store, and need to DODGE a SHARK…

Just think about what a ‘LUCKY-DUCKY’ You are to Learn exactly
